three walks from the backyard

Drop your bags and start bushwalks just 50 metres from your back door!

Walk one – Venus Baths (and on to the Pinnacle for the energetic)

Walk 50 meters from the back of the property, turn left on to the track and walk in bushland parrallel to the oval.  Cross the road at the cricket ground club rooms and follow the track which soon enters the Halls Gap native garden and then on to the Venus baths track.  This walk continues all the way to the Pinnacle for the energetic.  The Venus Baths and Pinnacle walks are the most popular and spectacular walks in Halls Gap.

Walk two- Clematis falls

A short 1.2 kilometre walk to Clematis Falls (Winter waterfall best after rain).

walk three – Bullaces Glenn

A  2.7 kilometre walk that ends at town or connects you to the popular Venus Baths. For the energetic, the Bullaces Glenn walk also connects you to the Pinnacle walking track, meaning you can reach the most popular walk in the Grampians from the back of your house.

walk four – chatauqua peak

A 2.9 kilometre walk with great views over Halls Gap (see picture on the left).

There is also a mild to moderate undulating fire trail with small creek crossings after rain. Lots of fun for adventurous mountain bike riders.
